Pain in upper right abdomen, radiates exactly opposite to my back, what could it be?
September 19th, 2008 | by Karina |. asked:
I’m 28 weeks pregnant, and have dull achy pain on the right upper abdomen. I pushed down on that area because I thought it might be the foot of my baby, but it doesn’t seem to be. Anyway, it’s constant pain, which just started, and when pressure is applied, a sharp pain radiates directly opposite to my back. Any ideas, as to what it is? Thanks
I already asked this in the pregnancy section, but I also thought someone might know something in this section as well.

It is possible it could be your gall bladder. A bladder with gall stones radiates from that area. An x-ray can confirm if you have gall stones.

Your baby is lying on a nerve when u push don on it its just putting More pressure on the nerve , the baby is bigger now and has not got much room to move, best advice is when baby is awake (kicking) rub your tummy in large circular movements maybe enticesto move , or try and be mobile walking helps baby move once off that nerve you will be fine
